I am in the senate gallery right now waiting for Abelser’s swearing in. It is a weird group in the gallery to be sure. When we arrived a group of children related to iraq war soldiers were being addressed by Sen. Blendu. A large number of district 17 activists are now here to support Eddie. A handful of YDs excited to see one of their own just sat down … and my personal favorite are the “women in red” republican gop ladies who are here.

Ableser just came up to thank us all for showing and already is being lobbied by wactivists in the audience who only a day or so ago were just campaign volunteers.
